Georges Bataille spoke of the universe as “formless” and all of “official” human culture as an attempt to resist the fundamental fact that we are finite beings within eternity.

This EP, "The Eternal Return", is an attempt at portraying the vastness of that eternity, the futile nature of our quest for immortality (our lives are littered with bids for a deathlessness that evades us) and the sombre truth that the legacies all of us leave behind will fade to dust; what remains is what we began with- the void.
